Hello :)
Today’s
article is a review of a day cream by Korres that I discovered shortly after
trying out the Night Cream from the same Korres line. When I usually try out a
new product and like it, I always try to find other products from the same
company/line and the Magnolia Bark Day Cream has quickly become one of my
favorite skin care products – especially for the spring.
Product
Description
Similar
to the Night Cream, whose review you can read her:
There’s
40ml of product in the jar and it also targets first wrinkles on the skin – it’s
mostly directed towards women in their early 20s who none the less experience wrinkles
and tired skin due to today’s highly polluted atmosphere.
As I have
mentioned in the Night Cream review, this skin care line is very nourishing and
you need a very small amount of product to cover and moisturize the entire face
and neck. This seems to be even more so with the day cream – I use a very small
amount and it spreads and moisturizes very effectively!

Review
The
results take a bit longer to appear, but after a week or so of using this
product, I can safely say that I really love it. There were a few trial and
errors with the dosage I needed to use since I have a mixed skin type and some
areas need less moisture than others, but since this product is meant for all
skin types, it does a really good job with making my skin more even. And it has
SPF15, which is basically minimum requirement in your skin care products if you
want to protect your skin.
I would
say that if your skin is more on the oily side of things, I would use a
matifying serum first to absorb some of the oil and then apply the Korres cream,
since – again – this cream is very moisturizing. I have also noticed that when
my skin is oilier than other days, this cream leaves a waxy feeling after
application but it does go away after a while. None the less, when my skin is
it’s normal self (some areas dry, some oily – mixed skin type people unite :P)
this cream offers a perfect balance. This is great especially for spring since
it’s not too cold or too hot in my country this time of year and you’re
somewhere in between as to how to dress or treat your skin…
The
only disadvantage I can find with this cream is that it does nothing for acne.
None the less, this cream is going into my list of favorites for this year. If anyone tries it
out, please write your experience in the comment section below!
