10 easy fitness tips for healthier lifestyle :)

A systematic review – when?
For more than five years, you can engage in any sport, you have more than 35 years of age or have a medical problem? Before you start to do more, to work out a systematic review.

Muscles without increasing the volume
If you want to tighten up your muscles, not to maximize muscle mass, exercise with a small load, but with more repetitions. For instance, instead of with weights, exercise bands with overreachable. Repeat the exercise a minimum of 15 times.

Compensate the loss of water
It is natural that the more you sweat while exercising, and so the body loses important minerals. To maintain balance, it is necessary that after every 30 minutes of exercise per drink 250 ml of water.

Burn calories fast
The misconception is that calorie burning begins only after 30 minutes of exercise. Even ten minutes of intense training produces excellent results. Fitness experts say that calorie burning begins after four minutes of exercise.

Use a pulse meter
For the success of endurance training it is important to track the number of heartbeats per minute. It is therefore advisable to carry on training and meter pulse, which also can be purchased at sporting goods stores
Light weight training for beginners
Beginners should not in any case to train to exhaustion. Not only will you lose the will to win and have sore muscles. If you opt for jogging, start with five minutes of jogging and make small breaks. Then gradually increase the intensity.

Good old rope
Skipping rope was, and remains indispensable for burning calories. What is the rope weighs, the greater the load, and thus the effect of exercise is better. In order to determine the required length of rope? Simple as that. Stand on the rope, the ends should you reach to armpit.

Running shoes by the bed
You planned to go every Monday in long walks? In this case, place the evening already running shoes next to the bed. This little psychological trick will immediately remind you of your plan and encourage you to action.

Forget the elevator ride
This is absolutely essential for all trainees. Do not use the elevator, but take the stairs! Did you know that you are going for thirty steps you have “won” burn 50 calories?

Gymnastics in front of the TV
While sitting in front of the TV doing the exercises for the arms and chest muscles. Take two plastic half-liter bottle, fill with water and props are ready. Straighten the arms to the side at shoulder height, bend them at the elbows to the shoulders and straighten them again. Korres Magnolia Bark Day Cream review

Hello :)

Today’s article is a review of a day cream by Korres that I discovered shortly after trying out the Night Cream from the same Korres line. When I usually try out a new product and like it, I always try to find other products from the same company/line and the Magnolia Bark Day Cream has quickly become one of my favorite skin care products – especially for the spring.

Product Description

Similar to the Night Cream, whose review you can read her:

There’s 40ml of product in the jar and it also targets first wrinkles on the skin – it’s mostly directed towards women in their early 20s who none the less experience wrinkles and tired skin due to today’s highly polluted atmosphere.

As I have mentioned in the Night Cream review, this skin care line is very nourishing and you need a very small amount of product to cover and moisturize the entire face and neck. This seems to be even more so with the day cream – I use a very small amount and it spreads and moisturizes very effectively!

Product Review

The results take a bit longer to appear, but after a week or so of using this product, I can safely say that I really love it. There were a few trial and errors with the dosage I needed to use since I have a mixed skin type and some areas need less moisture than others, but since this product is meant for all skin types, it does a really good job with making my skin more even. And it has SPF15, which is basically minimum requirement in your skin care products if you want to protect your skin.

I would say that if your skin is more on the oily side of things, I would use a matifying serum first to absorb some of the oil and then apply the Korres cream, since – again – this cream is very moisturizing. I have also noticed that when my skin is oilier than other days, this cream leaves a waxy feeling after application but it does go away after a while. None the less, when my skin is it’s normal self (some areas dry, some oily – mixed skin type people unite :P) this cream offers a perfect balance. This is great especially for spring since it’s not too cold or too hot in my country this time of year and you’re somewhere in between as to how to dress or treat your skin…

The only disadvantage I can find with this cream is that it does nothing for acne.

None the less, this cream is going into my list of favorites for this year. If anyone tries it out, please write your experience in the comment section below!

How to: Grow your Eyebrows back

Hi all :)

Here are some quick tips to grow back your eyebrows if you’ve over plucked them or if you want to make them grow thicker

You’re only going to need Vaseline and olive oil – this is basically a home remedy

In the morning, before you start your day apply Vaseline to your eyebrows focusing on the areas you want hair to grow. Wipe it off after a couple of hours.

Apply Vaseline again in the afternoon – again, wipe it off after a couple of hours

At night, after you’ve cleansed and toned your face, apply olive oil to your eyebrows and leave it on for the entire night. Wipe off any excess in the morning. Apply Vaseline again etc.

Also...

It’s best to use a cotton swab or a pointy cosmetic sponge for precision when applying the Vaseline/Oil. This way you won’t have unwanted hair growing anywhere else around your brows.

If you didn’t over pluck your brows but they’re still thin or sparse, make sure to check your Iron levels. Iron is a key to hair growth because it provides oxygen to cells to facilitate hair growth. So low Iron levels might also be a reason why your brows are not growing back.

Product Review: Laneige BlackHead Melting Gel

Hello and a happy Wednesday to you!!!

During my quest to eliminate the blackheads that have inhabited my nose since my early teens, I came across the Laneige Blackhead Melting Gel and decided to give it a try. Yesstyle.com is my go-to source for anything that has to do with beauty products from Asia (or products that are popular in Asia) and since my skin tone is very light it’s safe to say that I find a number of Asian beauty products that suit me.

I have very deep blackheads on my nose that become very difficult to remove – not to mention painful – and I have tried all other methods of removal: pore strips, steaming the face or using face masks made for treating blackheads. None of them worked :( This was my first time every trying a melting gel and I was eager to see if it would work!

Product Description

So the Laneige Blackhead Melting Gel is a self-heating gel that becomes warm once it comes in contact with the skin. You’re supposed to pump the gel onto the skin using the side pump on the devise and then massage the area that needs treatment in a circular motion, using the silicon brush. The instructions say to wait 20 seconds (after massaging) for the gel to set in and then wash the area with lukewarm water.

The silicon brush is very soft and easy to use while the gel heats up immediately so you can feel it working while you’re using it. The bottle the gel comes in is a thick plastic material and the cap for the brush is the same.

Product Performance

Honestly, I am a little in-between about this product: At first, I wasn’t really impressed. Even though I felt the gel removing the dirt and extra sebum, it didn’t do much with removing my deep blackheads. It also left my nose a bit dry and flaky afterwards but that was only for the first couple of times. I thought I should make a decision after a few days of using it and I have come to the conclusion that on its own, the Laneige Blackhead Melting Gel does absolutely nothing for my deep pores.

However…

Given the proper assistance, the gel can work. So, one method of making it more effective is this: after washing the face with lukewarm water (as the instructions state), proceed with clearing out the blackheads using ear buds or by wrapping your nails with tissue. Then, you can also use a scrub made for daily use and gently scrub the area that needs treatment. Rinse and then use the gel. By using this method, I have come to see a reduction in the number of blackheads on my nose. Granted it’s not the best or easiest method (and it does take a bit of time) but when testing out the gel, this is the best use I could get out of it.

Conclusion

This gel might be a great product for someone with a smaller blackhead problem.

If you’re not willing to find out a way to fit it into your treatment for deep blackheads, then don’t bother, it won’t do much for you.

The whole packaging is very hygienic and travel friendly.

You can’t tell how much product is left which is a bit disappointing.
